I’m Joice Joseph, from the hills of Idukki, Kerala. An engineer by profession, a storyteller at heart, and a husband and father in the moments that matter most.
I make photographs, write stories and poems, explore new places, and build things on computers and the internet.
01 / ROOTS
Before the cloud,
there were hills.
I grew up in a large extended family in Rajakumary, Idukki, among farms and plantations of lemongrass, ginger, cardamom, and black pepper. The hills of Kerala, wrapped in rain and mist, were the landscape of my childhood. My story begins there—with family, the land, and the everyday life of a place I still call home.

I’m Joice. A computer engineer, a photographer, and someone from the hills of Kerala.
I like building reliable systems and documenting the world around me. This is a home for both: the work that challenges me, the places that shaped me, and the small things I don’t want to forget.
Rooted in Kerala and in the Jacobite Orthodox Christian faith, I carry both with me wherever life takes me.
